Tools of the Early Texans Symposium Lecture

Interested in history? Mark your calendars for Symposium lecture on Thursday, June 29th! Dr. Heather Para is an archaeologist that has worked at many different active sites all over the world. She brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge to the way we view our local history in coastal Texas.

This talk will cover the kinds of tools used by Early Texans, how they were used, and what that tells us about life along the Coastal Bend up to 14,000 years ago.
This event is part of the City by the Sea Museum’s Guy and Colleen Claybourn Symposium, a monthly series of lectures with guest speakers discussing and educating the public about the social, cultural, and environmental history of the Palacios Area.
