The Little League District 18 is hosting this year’s Texas East Little League State Softball Tournament July 14th-18th! They are estimating approximately 200 families in town for this event.
The El Campo Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture will be distributing El Campo backpacks with goodies to all of the families with information on things to do! They are giving businesses the opportunity to advertise to these players, coaches and families by putting brochures, discounts/ coupons, or promo items in the goodie bags. They will be putting together 200 bags–the deadline to place materials in them will be Wednesday, July 12th 4:00 p.m. Please give them a call at (979) 543-2713 to arrange dropping off your goodies.
The softball games will be in the evenings, so families will have all day to experience El Campo! You have the wonderful opportunity to SHOP LOCAL at their many shops to support the town. Stay tuned to the El Campo Little League and the El Campo Chamber Facebook pages for updates!
There is a $10 parking fee (but no gate fee) and t-shirts will be available for sale. There will also be a 50/50 raffle at the event!
