Come on out to Riverside Park this Wednesday, November 8th, for a fun time fishing with your fellow seniors. It is an opportunity for seniors to get out in the park (at no charge on that morning) and enjoy fishing. The Bay City Parks and Rec Dept will have staff on hand to help anyone to get on and off the beach area and if needed help them fish or show them how to fish. They will have water coolers on site, but no food. Seniors will need to bring their own bait or catch on site – there are LOTS of grasshoppers! Seniors can bring chairs, sunshades, etc to set up on the beach.
You are encouraged to bring your own gear but the Parks and Rec Department will also have gear available for you. This event is for those ages 55 and up and a fishing license is not required if you were born before January 1, 1931.
