Prescribed Burning School Training Course

Prescribed Burning School will be a 4 day Training Course to qualify you as a Certified Prescribed and Insured Burn Manager, training in the safe use of fire as a rangeland and wildlife management tool.

Training will be held at the Spread Oaks Ranch, located at 8052 CR 403 in Markham, from May 30- June 2.

The cost is $200.

For existing Certified Prescribed and Insured Burn Managers, a one day workshop will be held on Tuesday, May 30th for Continuous Fire Training (CFT) (6) credits, in conjunction with the workshop for $50.

The event is hosted by the Texas AgriLife Extension Service – Matagorda County and Spread Oaks Ranch.
