Come out and help support the Midfield Volunteer Fire Department this weekend at their annual fundraiser! This is a multi-day event. Friday night there will be a cook-off. Categories include margarita, dutch oven, fajitas, and chili. There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies, and judging will occur at 7 PM for chili, 7:30 PM for margarita, 8 PM for fajitas, and 9 PM for dutch oven. $35 for your first entry and $10 for each additional entry.
On Saturday, there will be a youth hamburger cookoff . Teams allow two kids aged Pre-K – 8th grade and must have one adult supervisor with them. There is a $5 registration fee. The winner will be announced at 12:30 PM and they will receive a first place trophy.
There will also be a Saturday cook-off. Categories include beans, chicken, ribs, and brisket. Winners will be announced and trophies presented during the auction beginning at 12:30 PM.

There will also be a street-dance event on Saturday at 4 PM. It is open to all ages with tickets being sold for $10 at the door or $8 presale. Children under 12 get in free! You can buy tickets on their website at midfieldfiretx.org. This event will be featuring music by Craig Estlinbaum (3-4 PM), Rewind Texas (4-8 PM), and Adriana Live (8 PM – Close).
