Boater’s Safety with Bay City Parks and Recreation

Riverside Park and the Bay City Parks and Recreation Department want you to GO WILD! @ Riverside Park with the Riverside Park Rangers. A wide variety of fee-based outdoor programs and activities will be offered throughout the year to the public at their natural park–one of which being an instructional lesson about boater’s safety if you’re thinking about hitting the water this summer.

The boater’s safety course will teach you the basics of boating safety and seamanship as well inform you about the Texas Water Safety Act. This is important information if you’re thinking about boating this summer safely.

This event will begin at 2 PM at the Tejas Pavilion in Riverside Park. You can register in person at Bay City Parks Administration, 1209 10th Street, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or at Riverside Park, 7330 FM 2668, Monday – Sunday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. They also have the option to register online at https://www.cityofbaycity.org/190/Parks-Recreation. Click on the Riverside button or you can call Riverside Park at 979-245-0340 or Parks and Recreation at 979-323-1660. It is a $5 per person.
